Chief Visionary and Creative Director, Christopher Staser

Brandweaver Founder, Chief Strategist and Creative Director, Christopher Staser is a self-described intuitive-analytic. He stands out as a brand designer for his unique combination of abilities as a brand strategist, visual designer and writer-storyteller. In addition to a vast background of cross-disciplines and cross-cultural experience in Europe and Asia, his unique combination of business-analytic, visual and writing literacy allows him to hold the big picture of brand design from the narrowest details to their broadest implications at once. Through holding the big picture, Christopher leverages his talents with those of his team to act as the executive producer/director of branding projects, much like a film producer-director.

Christopher is known for his unique approach that creates concepts, names and images that are powerful and unifying in their essence and simplicity. Using an intuitive-analytical approach that leads to quantum leap innovations and solutions, Christopher was first celebrated in both the world of philosophy and filmmaking—two of his early films earned him national awards. In addition to filmmaking, Christopher developed his visual eye as an award winning photographer while also studying and working under a senior art history professor of Asian art for nearly two years. Christopher has additionally cultivated a keen sense of storytelling as an independent film writer-director-producer.

Christopher has played many roles in the creative field over the last twelve years, from creative director, art director and video producer, serving institutions such as Harvard University, large companies such as Onyx Graphics, dynamic startups like Yaktivate, and engaging non-profits like the Big Mind Foundation and the Robert G. Hemingway Foundation. He is the recipient of two national Telly Awards and the prestigious Webby Award.

Today Brandweaver represents the cumulation of Christopher’s unique philosophical and anthropological insights into the evolution of culture and technology towards a global tribal-primal culture and the implications for the creation of meaningful brands that connect and inspire through modern storytelling, ritual and authentic brand culture. He is a Chinese and Spanish speaker and spends his time professionally between the United States, Asia and Europe.
